These Terms of Service govern your use of DogAgeCalculatorUSA.com and its calculators, charts and articles (the “Site”). By using the Site you agree to these terms and to ourPrivacy Policy. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the Site. The Site is free and requires no account.

Not veterinary advice

Everything on this Site is for educational and informational purposes only. It is not veterinary advice, diagnosis or treatment, and using the Site does not create a veterinarian–client–patient relationship. Always consult a licensed veterinarian about your dog’s health.

Estimates and accuracy

Dog-to-human age conversions are population-level approximations drawn from published research and veterinary guidelines, including the AKC/AVMA size-based model and the UCSD epigenetic clock. Individual dogs age differently. We work to keep our formulas, breed data and articles accurate and current, but we do not guarantee that any result, chart or statement is complete, error-free or suited to your particular dog. If you spot an error, pleasetell us.

Acceptable use

You may use the Site for personal, non-commercial purposes. You agree not to:

  • copy, scrape, or republish substantial parts of the Site’s content or data in bulk, including to train or populate other products, without our written permission;
  • frame the Site or present its tools as your own, except through an embed code we officially provide;
  • interfere with the Site’s operation, security or performance, including by automated traffic, probing or overloading it; or
  • use the Site for any unlawful purpose.

Quoting brief excerpts with a link back to the source page is welcome, as is linking to any page on the Site.

Content and intellectual property

The Site’s text, design, graphics, charts, calculator code and compiled breed data are owned by DogAgeCalculatorUSA.com or its licensors and are protected by copyright and other laws. The names of the research organizations and studies we cite belong to their respective owners, and citing them does not imply their endorsement of this Site.

The Site links to research papers, veterinary organizations and other third-party sites for reference. We don’t control those sites and aren’t responsible for their content or privacy practices.
